Silver Reef Hotel Casino
We went over there on their "spa package" and on arrival we found out that we got upgraded to one of their Executive Suites, which was a very nice surprise to start off with.
The room was beautiful, and had all the luxuries imaginable, from a bar to a hot tub, and to top it off a really large Television screen. It had an extremely large bathroom, big enough to throw a party in and the huge bed was exceptionally comfortable and overall the room looked just so classy, it was absolutely gorgeous!
After we got settled we visited the spa in order to get a massage. I had never had one before so I cannot compare it, but it was excellent. My wife, who is more familiar with getting a massage than me, was equally delighted about it so it is safe to say the massages were very good. The spa staff were very friendly, just like everywhere else in the hotel.
The spa itself was great; a minor downside was that it was very close to the pool, so people all used the same changing room. This kind of ruined the atmosphere that is typical in most spas. While not a very important factor, it was a minor downside to the experience.
After the massage we went for something to eat at the restaurant. The dinner was included in the package we bought, in this case prime rib. The restaurant staff were very attentive and overall were wonderful, and so was the quality of the food.
Afterwards, we hit the casino. Overall it was a good stay because we didn't lose any money, but broke even. When we bought slot tickets, we even received ten dollars free play money in the form of a coupon! There was a lot of smoke at the casino even though it is supposed to have a non smoking area, but I could not find it so I am not sure about that one. This highlighted a small downside to the casino, whilst everything is there, the signs to find places, like bathrooms and the non smoking areas are not easy to spot. This is only a small inconvenience, as there is always friendly staff around to point you to the right location.
After the visit to the casino we went up to our room where we were welcomed by a complimentary package containing playing cards, dice, and chocolates. What a great gesture!
Overall our visit to the Silver Reef Hotel Casino was an excellent experience I can recommend to anyone!
