Skagit Valley Casino Resort
A stay at Skagit Valley Casino is highly recommended for those looking for a one night stay. Their huge suites are excellent especially for the low prices they charge. The room I got was in excellent condition and the complimentary robes were just fine. The suit was equipped with everything imaginable: Jacuzzi, decent sized bathroom and best of all a completely separate living room.
Inside the casino are many smokers but the adequate ventilation system does its job. There are several games one can play such as blackjack, slots and poker. The bar does not serve free drinks, but with the low prices for everything at the casino that cannot be viewed as a downside to the experience. The staff are kind and attentive, but most of all prompt with their service! It was nice to see some genuine smiles for a change! Their regular clientele is a fun bunch to have laughs with also, which makes for a very pleasant experience in a nice informal atmosphere. It has a more at home feel to it than most of the other casinos I visited which made it a more pleasant experience.
The slots at the casino attract the most attention, the video slots that operate using tickets are the favourite past time for many of the casino's customers. The slots machines they use are 4 and 5 reel machines.
The casino personnel are quick to respond to any queries, they are friendly and very helpful.
Playing BlackJack would also make for a good choice of game with prices like $3 for shoe blackjack and $5 for double deck; they certainly are the lowest I have ever encountered.
The restaurant is more than decent and serves an excellent meal, but it can get crowded in there at times, even on a weekday. This can lead to longer waiting times, which is a small point of annoyance. Like everything else the prices were unbeatably low. Their menu contains lots of variety and everything I tried was great! The restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive, which goes for all the staff throughout the hotel.
Overall, Skagit Valley is a very nice place to visit with very low prices and exceptional service. It may not be a casino like the kind you find in Vegas, but Skagit Valley Casino is much less costly and with much friendlier people and personnel. I can recommend this place to anybody who wants to enjoy good service, friendly staff and unbeatable low prices.
