The Swinomish Casino
The Swinomish Casino is about 1.5 hours away from Seattle, on the North side, in a place called Anacortes. My wife and I went to the Swinomish Casino almost daily during our stay in Mount Vernon. They serve an excellent breakfast there at very reasonable prices. At times, usually on Fridays or Tuesdays we went there for dinner also, which is quality at bargain prices. Some of the choices on the menu can be a bit pricey, but when you keep to the deals you will experience quality food at unbeatable prices. The place is children friendly so bringing them along is not a problem.
The Restaurant staff is very friendly and kind, they are also quick to respond. Eating at this restaurant means enjoying breakfast, lunch or dinner in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere which we found very enjoyable. At times the restaurant can be quite busy especially with their deals but the service is still very quick. Their seafood deals come highly recommended and won’t disappoint.
While there we always spent some time at the casino, mostly playing the Slot Machines. One thing that caught our attention was the fact that new slot machines are added quite frequently. During two months, new additions were added twice! They have a wide variety of games and excellent pay outs. Besides the slots we had a go at a few games of Blackjack, and also enjoyed one fine evening of Bingo. You can also Play Keno there, and though Keno is not our game, we had fun watching it in the Keno lounge. The casino staff is very attentive and friendly. In fact we felt like family, that’s how well we have been treated over there.
On occasion they also have live acts there, like standup comedy and dancing events. The comedy acts we saw were especially a lot of fun. For us an evening at the casino, always was an evening well spent.
We also visited their Casino Museum which is very nice and full of ancient casino related items. The gift shop is especially nice and like everywhere in the Swinomish Casino the staff is very friendly, polite and helpful.
Overall, the Swinomish Casino is a fun place to visit that offers quality at very affordable prices. I can recommend a visit there to anyone that enjoys a nice trip to a casino.
